2 Bills, Duce, 200 only 10 lbs to go!

So a full 12 days into this thing I hit 200 on the scale this morning; that's a whopping 10 whole pounds lost. With only 19 days left in the month I've got to lose an additional 10; can it be done? I will say that the low-carb diet has me rather exhausted in my workout, this morning I really struggled and had almost no energy. Today is a total protein shake day so I'm sure I'll be really jittery by the end of the day and looking for a bowl of mashed potatoes to shove down my throat...restraint, restraint, restraint.

Steady as it Goes

Well I've gotten to the weight where I tend to get hung up and I'm hoping that my continual efforts on the diet side enhance the efforts I'm making on the exercise side. Yesterday I weighed 201 and this morning that didn't change. I'll be doing some good workouts today and as always keep an eye on my diet even over the weekend, and hopefully start Monday under the 200lbs marker.

Weight Today: 201

Sarah Palin vs. Ms. Davis

Being a Texas kid, I've always loved football and Varsity Blues was a great "High School Football Movie". Anyway, I'm sure you also remember Ms. Davis, the mild mannered sex education teacher by day...topless dancer by night. A friend of mine sent this over and I couldn't resist the comparison of Ms. Davis and Sarah Palin.

Not Much Movement Today - Need to Keep @ It

Well, I was pretty good on my diet yesterday, I did have some pizza at work, not much but it may be why my weight didn't move. I was 203 again this morning, so I'm hoping some better eating today and a good cardio workout will drop at least one more lbs. I'll keep you informed and more pictures to come tomorrow.

Down to 203 - 7lbs in 2 days

Okay, so if you caught the title then I guess that pretty much blew up the story. Any way I've been able to drop most of the extra weight I tacked on over the holiday weekend, and if this keeps up I'll be able to do this no problem. Let the shedding begin, man do I miss some heavy carbs.

Just a quick recap.

Monday: 210
Tuesday: 207.5
Today: 203

The September Test - 30 Days, 30 Pictures

So I've been training pretty regular and I actually took about 3 weeks off just to let some injuries heal. I will say that I still consider myself to be in great shape, but I haven't achieved the success I was hoping for and it's not due to effort, it's due to poor diet. Starting tomorrow, the 1st of September I'll be taking a photo of myself each day in an attempt so show that those "Before/After" photos are really possible for anyone. The major factor will be a diet of 5-6 small daily meals and an altered workout regimen. Once Kristen gets home tonight I'll have her take the first photo as a starting point of reference. Let's face it, I got myself down from 235 to 205 now it's time to go from 205 to 185. I'll even post my measurements so you can see everywhere a change has occurred.

Christmas Wish List - Starting Early

Since I've been training pretty hard, not really sure what for, I figured it was time I got some serious training shoes. Dear Santa, if you read my blog be sure to grab a pair of these, size 11 in Black and Metallic Silver.

An In/Out Chick-fil-a

A friend of mine posted that Chick-fil-a is trying a new quick and easy style store that's a little more convenient for customers; by that I mean somethings are ready made and the drinks are self-serve so no waiting. I haven't been yet, but I'll be sure to post a review when I get a chance to stop by.
